Grandma shopped Maddie till she dropped!!
Maddie went for her first Duckie ride.
She absolutely loved it and started screaming in the middle of the mall when we took her off and tried to go home.
Maddie took good care of her daddy's golf balls.
We did a little (ok maybe a lot) of shopping. I stepped in to a store to look at something when I came out I found Maddie and her Daddy both covered in ice cream!! :) Daddy forgot to get any for me!!
I think Maddie may be an audiologist. She kept inspecting Grandpa's ears at dinner!
So maybe I shop too much and should pay more attention to Maddie, but we were at another shopping center checking things out and when I found Maddie and Grandma they were both on a cotton candy sugar high!!
Maddie saw the ocean for the first time. She didn't know what to think about the sand at first, but after a minute or two she had a blast!! The weather was a little cool (65-70), but e still had lots of fun walking on the beach.
More fun looking for seashells...
Wow the sun is bright on the beach!!
Maddie's favorite thing was the hotel pool!! It was extremely warm and they had a fun baby pool with lots of fun waterfall type things. Maddie was all over the place in the baby pool and even started walking through the water falls and sticking her face under water on her own. She is going to be so much fun at the lake this summer!
She is just so cute!
The pool also had an indoor lazy river. We made lots of laps around it!
I know, I can't deny it anymore. Maddie does look just like her daddy. It becomes more and more apparent to me each and everyday!
We also visited Hooters in Myrtle Beach per Uncle Josh's request. The waitress gave Maddie a balloon that says "FUTURE HOOTERS GIRL" I don't know what her dad thought about that, but Maddie loved the balloon. She started to try and say balloon, but it just comes out "Ba oo". It is so cute!!
Hot mamas ready for the beach!! :)
Our family picture. It was very windy and sunny, thus why everyone is squinting in the picture. Believe it or not this is the best picture I could find of the 3 of us!
We drove down and back. Maddie was amazingly well. She slept most of the way and would occassionally get tired of sitting in her carseat (very understandable as it is a 14 hour drive). We stopped a few times, which seemed to perk her up and she would be good for a few more hours. Uncle Josh sat with her in the back on the way home and he tried sharing his music with her. She loved it as you can see by the picture!
Uncle Josh taught Maddie how to kick a beach ball. Here she is showing off her skills on the beach!
