Daddy and Maddie before church one morning
I just love this picture of Maddie. She loves playing with my camera case. She pretends that it is a little purse! She is really into playing "shopping" right now. I give her a paper shopping bag with handles and she will fill it up with random things she finds around the house and then she carries all of the things she has purchased around the house. I find the strangest things in her shopping bag some days!
One evening after work Maddie and I were playing. She was pushing her little baby around in the stroller and she started to walk toward the couch with her blanket on it. I thought that she must be getting tired and ready to go to bed when she picked up her blanket, but she surprised me. She carried her blanket back to her stroller and covered her baby up. My heart just melted. I had never covered her baby up with the blanket. It was something she had thought of all on her own. It was so much fun getting a little glimpse into how her mind works. After her baby was warm under the blanket, she started pushing her around again.
A few days later, Maddie and I were playing with her cookies and her cookie jar. I started doing something for a few minutes and turned around to play with the cookie jar again and we were missing some cookies. I looked around for them for a few minutes and then we started playing with something else. It wasn't until after she went to bed and I started picking up her toys that I found the missing cookies. She had given them to her baby to eat. My little girl is getting so creative!! It is so exciting!
No more monkeys I mean Maddies jumping on the bed!!
Down on the farm!
