Ok Jenna this one is for you!! :) I am sorry I haven't been blogging much lately. I have not been feeling very good for the past 2 months. I started feeling really tired in July and just couldn't get enough sleep, which is unusual for me. Usually I come home from work and run a mile a minute until it is time to go to bed. I called my doctor who had some labs run at the beginning of August. Within 2 hours of having my labs run my doctor's office was calling my cell phone and work phone trying to track me down. My labs showed that my platelet count had dropped to 25,000. It is normally 150-450,000, so they were extremely worried that it was so low. They told me that they had me scheduled to follow-up with a hematologist/oncologist the following day. The first thing I did was google "low platelet count" and of course it comes up with all of these awful things--including leukemia...Josh and I were totally freaking out all day. My family has a really strong family history of cancer and I did not want to hear those words at all. Josh and I prayed all day that my lab tests would be wrong. The hematologist/oncologist re-ran my labs at my appointment and my platelet count was normal. The doctor explained that she thought it was probably just a lab error and wanted to check me again in a month just to make sure. So I went back to my primary care doctor to figure out what was causing my fatigue who re-ran my labs again and found out that my thyroid isn't working as well as it should and put me on some medicine, which is making me feel really sick. He says the side effects should get better soon, but I am still waiting. The good news though is that I saw the hematologist on Friday and my labs were normal again and I was discharged!! YEAH!! What an answer to prayer!
We have managed to find time to have fun between doctor's appointments. I have included some pictures of things we have been doing for the last month. I can't believe summer is almost over....

Maddie enjoyed Sweeny's Sweet corn!!!

Maddie likes trying to climb into the cabinets and hide now. Tricky, Tricky!

We had a graduation party for Josh's mom Jane who got her bachelor's degree!! Congrats Jane!!

We discovered that Maddie LOVES mommy's raspberry pie!!!!!

She ate every last bite!!!

My bathing beauty!

Ribbit! Here comes froggy!

What a nice chair!!

Little Josh and Andrea had fun on the jet ski!!

Josh learned how to ski! I am so impressed that he wanted to try something new!!

Brayden and Maddie loved watching Josh and Jonathan ski behind the boat. Whenever they let go of the rope they would get very worried. It was so sweet.

Auntie Abby and Uncle Blake came up to the lake for a day.

We went trick-or-treating at the lake. I love that they have little fun events for the kids in the neighborhood where my parent's lake cottage is. Some of the families go way out and decorate their whole yard/garage.
Maddie went as Miss America!!

Daddy and Miss America!

Maddie kept trying to steal the neighbor's candy when she thought no one was paying attention.

Mmmm...candy!!! She kept robbing Grandma's candy bowl too!

We went to the duck pond with Grandma and Grandpa!
Surprizingly we weren't mobbed with ducks and geese.
Awe!!! Too cute!

Watching boats is always fun!
Maddie tried tubing! She is so gonna be ready for some waves next year!!

This is Maddie's new trick. I think she thinks you can't see her when she does this, because she will stand up, say boo, and giggle like crazy!!

She has also become interested in climbing on/in everything. She loves to snuggle in her wagon!
