Happy FALL!!!

Where does the time go?? It has been over a month since my last post. It seems like it was just yesterday. Maddie had bronchitis a few weeks ago, and is still fighting a cold now. I am praying that we have a healthy winter.

Josh's brother Cory came home from Oklahoma to surprise everyone last week. He is in the Air Force. Within a few hours of arriving home he got a phone call and his wife was being admitted to the hospital due to confusion. To make a long story short, she was diagnosed with encephalitis and is still in the hospital now (9 days later). She has been transferred down to IU medical center and has a whole team of doctors trying to figure out how to help her. Please pray for her speedy recovery and that Cory can remain strong.

On a separate note, my boss just put her 2 weeks notice in, so I am anticipating things getting really crazy in the next few weeks. To top it off, one of my favorite physicians is leaving the practice at the first of the year. It is a good thing I love what I do.


Maddie likes to "read" now. She has a few favorite books that she pretty much has memorized and she will turn the pages and say the words.


GO COLTS!! Maddie has been watching the games with us. I think she thinks Josh and I are crazy when we get excited and cheer during the games!!


We went to Hilger's Pumpkin Patch with Brayden. It was so much fun!!! They had a few farm animals--donkey, pony, chicken, goat, sheep, bunny, and kittens. I think the kids love the animals more than the pumpkins.

Maddie is so in to horsies right now!! We went to the 4-H fair a few weeks ago and she didn't want to leave the horsies at all!!

Aren't they just too cute together??

My little audiologist in training. She picked up my otoscope the other day and was trying to look in her ear. The funny part is that I have never showed her what to do with it. I rarely get it out at home, so she must have picked it up from all of our doctor's appointments!

Fun in the back yard with Peanut!

I love Peanut!! She is so like the little girl on Looney Toons who would pick Bugs Bunny up and say "I'm gonna love you and kiss you and never let you go..." Peanut gets annoyed sometimes, but tolerates her most of the time.

Leaves everywhere!

Grandma and Grandpa W. got Maddie a chair for her birthday and she loves it!! She sits in it, lays in it, puts all of her stuffed animals in it...We were leaving this morning and she turned and said "Bye chair" as we walked out the door. She makes me laugh!
