Weekend with the Becks

Josh's brother Cory is home from the Air Force for a few weeks, so we decided we would make a little weekend getaway trip out of it. Josh's dad is in the "Wray Brothers" band and he was performing in Nashville, Indiana, so we all went and stayed for the weekend. We had the best time. Maddie got a new inner tube and LOVED swimming!! She also loved spending time with her Uncle Cory. We try to Skype with Cory regularly, so she was so excited to see him in person. She only wanted Uncle Cory to hold her the whole trip.

Maddie sucked down an entire smoothie from McDonalds and then proceeded to tell me that her head hurt...

YEAH!!! UNCLE CORY!!!

Maddie loved IHOP pancakes!! She must be growing, because we can't keep her full!

Aunt Shannon, Uncle Cory, and Maddie...Uncle Cory and Aunt Shannon are getting married next weekend! We are so excited about it!

Maddie swam all over the pool wither her tube. She was so excited to be independent. I was shocked at how comfortable she was in the water.

Good times with Uncle Cory in the pool. When we were packing up to leave, I deflated Maddie's new inner tube to put it in the suitcase. She had a major meltdown! You would have thought that I took her best friend away...I think I am going to go to Wal-Mart and buy about 10 more inner tubes, just in case...we need to spread them out across the pool, the lake, and our house!

Happy Easter!

We had a fun Easter at our house this year. Our church had an amazing service and a beautiful "Living Cross" where everyone bring fresh cut flowers and attaches them to the cross. It is to symbolize that Jesus lives...besides church we did a few other Easter activities. We went and had pictures with live bunnies. They turned out great! Maddie had so much fun holding them. We also had three Easter egg hunts! Maddie was much more into it this year. The community Easter Egg Hunt is hilarious it is at 9:00 in the morning, so everyone gets there between 8:45-8:55 and it is over by 9:05! Josh and I joked you definitely do not want to be late! The Easter Bunny also stopped by our house and grandma and grandpa's house. Maddie was so cute every time she found an egg, she would gasp ooohh!!! She also corrected me every time I said "Easter Bunny" she would say no its the "Easter Rabbit".
