On Friday, Madelyn met my friends Sandra and Angie. Sandy was in town from Houston and stopped by to visit. Angie brought her two kiddos—Gavin (5) and Presley (2 ½) over. Gavin said that our house was so boring that it was like being in the country until he found out we had a Wii, then we had the coolest house ever. Presley was so cute I gave her a bowl of vanilla wafers because she kept saying that she was hungry. Gavin wanted to share the cookies with her, but Presley didn’t want to share so she took them all and hid them under Madelyn’s baby swing. I couldn’t find the camera, so I missed a photo op—oops! We had a great afternoon with everyone.
Saturday, Josh, Maddie, and I went on a road trip to Kokomo. It was Josh’s Grandma Dorothy’s birthday. We were able to visit with both sides of Josh’s family. Madelyn was able to meet all of her extended family for the first time. She was a trooper in the car and all day considering that it takes us 2 hours to get down there.
Here are some pictures from our adventures!
