Happy Birthday Maddie!!!!!!!!!!

I can't believe my little girl is 2!!! It seems like just yesterday we brought her home from the hospital and had no idea what we were doing. I thought that feeling would pass, but I still feel like I have no idea what I am doing as a parent some days. She is such a big girl these days and doing all kinds of things. Where does the time go?!? We had so much fun celebrating her birthday. We had a really busy day. We went to the Shrine Circus with Grandma Patty, Grandpa Dave, Uncle Jonathan, Aunt Jessica, Brayden and Logan. It was fun (and really long!). The show started at 10:00 a.m. and was still going at 12:15. We ended up leaving a little early as kids were getting a little antsy. That same afternoon we had a small "Dora the Explorer" birthday party with just our immediate family. It was so much fun. We had a blast!! Maddie loved every minute of it!

At 2 Maddie...

-Is very independent and wants to do almost everything on her own
-Is talking up a storm!! 3-4 word sentences and hundreds of words in her vocabulary
-Likes taking care of her babies
-Eats mostly fruits, chicken nuggets, macaroni and cheese, and crackers
-Knows how to push both her mommy and daddy's buttons
-Gets 2-3 breathing treatments each day
-Starting to wear size 2T clothes
-Wearing size 7 1/2 wide shoes!
-Loves animals
-Is a clean freak! She loves to sweep, dust, scrub everything
-Starting to potty train....
-Drinks from a big girl cup
-Loves to tell stories about all kinds of things
-Has an excellent memory, she is still saying "Baby Jesus, Bye-Bye" every time we drive by a local business that had a nativity set out for Christmas.
-Is just so much fun!

Grandma Patty sure enjoyed snuggling with Baby Logan. Great-Grandma Morr had a good time watching all of his facial expressions while he slept.

Brayden and Maddie went for a ride on Happy the dinosaur. He eats, roars, moves his head...he is so cute and Maddie just loves him. She likes to stick her hand in his mouth and have him chew on her fingers.
